The Pentwater Junior Sailing Program has enjoyed it's new home. The program is located on the beach area
next to the Village launch ramp at 191 Lake Street. There is a pavilion for sun shade and a restroom. (See
photo below.) The beach provides a smoother launch and landing area for the new sailors. You will find all
forms below and a map to help you find us. We also have a sailor scholarship program for any student that may
need help with the cost. Our goal is to be sure all children have an opportunity to learn to sail. We also offer
private lessons for adults and children under 8 years of age. Please contact Sue Bainton, information under Info

PROGRAM BEGINS WEEKLY SESSIONS JUNE 21 thru AUGUST 20, 2010 Cost $50.00 per week
BEGINNERS CLASS: 10:00 A.M. TO 11:30 A.M. Swim test for newcomers is at 9:30 a.m.
INTERMEDIATE CLASSES: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Best Western Hotel pool (North of town,
2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and we meet in parking lot first.)
If you mail in your registration within two weeks of desired date you will have the best chance of
getting your selected date and time slot.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR CLASS: Certified Coast Guard approved P.F.D. types I-III (We have a
few available, but best to bring your own if you have one.)
